Ok, so I opened one of my UPS shipments and there was a note that they were not able to ship all my parts. Looks like I have 2 parts on back-order now. Hoping they come in before the show.

I did get my complete Zaino order.

Got some parts on the workbench with one coat of paint. Waiting for it to dry, then I will add a second coat.

Getting closer.

I started my brake job today. Calipers off and ready for paint. Stainless steel lines installed. Looks like everyone is getting ready for spring!!!

There is talk of another mod day... You guys/gals better save something to work on! I will let you know when we plan it. Hopefully some of you guys can make it. Even if you havent anything to install, its a fun time and I believe this year we are going to limit the work and save time for a cruise after!

Sweet! What color are the calipers going to be?

Definitely up for another mod day and a cruise.

Gloss red, black brembo. I know its they typical color but I have sort of a red scheme going with all the BMR stuff and what not. I got red brake lines too. They look awesome! I have had this fleading thought of switching out my Eibach springs (black) for BMR (red) just not sure if its worth the work. I have got pretty quick at the spring jobs but... I dont know. I just did another set of springs/sway with Drew on a 2011 this past weekend. The HUD is AWESOME!

I hope to see you guys and I am still considering the show coming up. As long as I dont get roped into some V-day

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about installing a Cold-Air Induction system.

Any recommendations?

I was leaning towards K & N, strictly because I know the name but am open to suggestions - -

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm up for destroying vehicles then cruising.

Oldschools ride is looking sweet!! And I 'officially' finished all my mods I was currently working on, all installed and looking great. Now that is done... time to buy more mods.

Glenn,

As hrpiii says, Rotofab is great as is Cold Air Inductions Inc.

Well got a painter lined up for Mid March I was thinking of having the Heritage grill that is black in the middle painted to match the stripes but if I do that do I have to have the lower grill done too or should I just leave them alone. My wife says this is the last thing this year till the trip to Hawaii is done and over. Well maybe a small mod here and there wouldn't hurt would it??? She wouldn't have to know right??? Zaino is good but harder then hell to see to take off. I am going to try this new buffer with adams wax and see how it comes out.

Thanks everyone for the info - it is good info and love the comparison spreadsheet.................................I am also looking at the Dove Tail Spoiler. I couldn't order it last year as it is a 2011 part - per Dugan Chevrolet. I believe I saw them on GM Parts Plus for a lot less money than a GM dealer.

I think I am going to get a price on painting the GFX - - I have used Golden Chassis here in Brownsburg a couple times and have been pleased with the work they have done.

I like to go slow when doing mods - - I have an '04 vette I bought new and it took me 3 years before I finiahed some mods to get it the way I liked it.

I am sending in my check today for membership in the Central Indiana Camaro Club, I look forward to car season with them - - - - another thing I meant to do last year!!!! LOL

Golden Chassis fixed my truck back in '09 when someone decided not to stop and crunched the backend at about 50 mph. Great guys there. Hope to see you at the next CICC gathering, I'll be in the other CGM SS
