Reccomendation on Road coarse/Autocross Tires

I am looking for the best set-up for road coarse racing and autocross racing.
I have a full set of factory 20x9 rims (4 corners) I am looking for the best brands and tire size for front and rear. I would like to to hear from form members and vendors about there opinion's and that has been tested on the track.... Thanks
My current mods on my car are
Front and rear sways
Coil-overs
3.73 gears
Maggie charger

"WHAT TIRE SHOULD I BUY?"

A special note for all: So many times customers will attempt to put a tire that is wider than is recommended for a specified rim width.
This WILL ABSOLUTELY affect the performance of the tire causing an increase in tire wear, inconsistant and poor performance.

DON'T DO IT!
The best fitment for a tire's performance is for the rim width to be equal to the tread width of the tire. Using rims that are narrower or wider than the tire manufactures recommendations is an extremely poor decision and very unprofessional.

Mick's last statement I agree 100% with...Many people I know are like oh I want to put 275's on a 8.5" wide wheel or 9" wide wheel..They fail to realize that actually causes more flex in the sidewall and reduces the contact patch.

315 30 18 front and 335 30 18 rear on 18x11 front and 18x12 rears.

mike check out www.scr-scca.com its the south carolina chapter for auto crossing from sports car clubs of america, a nationwide autocross club. Actually they are having two events in september, one at the track you told me about, and one in north charleston, which i am going too.

John at CCW built them for my car. They take a little bit of work to make them fit but give you the bigest footprint from a tire you can get on the 2010 Camaro, and help to lower it as well. I have Hoosier A6 tires mounted on C2K's for the track. They stick out of the fenderwell about 1 inch front and rear. My car is lowered about an inch in the suspension as well.

For stock 9" rims the stickiest option are the Toyo R888. I have them on the same set-up, 4 x 9" rear rims and traction is unbelievable. Of course a square 10" set-up would be optimum, but spending that kind of money may not always be an option.

Thanks Erik for the info, Great video....I just ran Roebling Road last saturday, I had a blast, stock 21" tires are doing so well 3 track events so far...
