Maintenance costs?

Do you think it will be expense to maintain this car?

I never had own a high performace sports car before so this will be my first one. I had a Monte Carlo but the parts for that car wasn't so bad. So I just wanted to hear some input from you folks.

I don't believe it will be any more expensive that any other modern car. Most issues should/will be covered under warranty, so no, I don't think it'll be bad.

Other than the 3 quart increased capacity of the LS3, I don't forsee any other major increase in maintenance.

My 145k T/A was not that bad... As long as you use top tier fuel, change your fuel filter and use common sense preventive maintenance approach, you will be fine.

I used Pennzoil Platinum and K&N filter on the LS1 for it's life and did not burn any oil.
