Torque Converterss
I don't see much chatter about anyone upgrading their torque converter behind all the power mods they have added to their cars, especially a cammed car? I know at some point one might want to upgrade if they take it down the drag strip, but I also hear some say if the car has a cam a compatible torque converter makes a difference and the car can be more fun to drive. Maybe some of those lurking experts might have some thoughts.

i was advised to do a converter when i did my cam swap due to the operating range on the cam. if you get a cam that makes power from idle you shouldn't need one.

Anyone have any track times from a converter swap? I see .6 and .7 in the 1/8 mile regularly from N/A engines. I'd imagine we would see the same from a ZL1 on good tires.
