Lightweight Camaro?

Any body got any good ideas for losing some Camaro weight? Know of any rear seat delete kits yet? Maybe lighter body panels?

Friend of mine races a 68 (9:24 at 148 mph) he took all of his door panels off seats out and drilled holes in every place he could fine. Put the panels back on and presto no one knows. It sounds silly but he turns preet good times. When you get going that fast every oz. counts

the BIW.... Body in White is just that. a white Camaro body/shell. The bodies do not have vehicle identification numbers, so they may be used only as racing vehicles that will never be licensed for street driving.

The basic package lists for $7,000 and includes an assembled body structure, including the front fenders, hood, roof, doors, rear quarters and trunk lid. The structure also includes the complete floorpans and chassis rails.
