Well, the good thing is, you are right smack between Jacksonville and Savannah so if you start having really bad Camaro Companionship Issue's like me, you can drive north or south and jump into a group for a bit. Another good thing, is there are some folks on C5 from your area, just be patient and ... do some research too.

Is there a local Chevy Dealership in Brunswick? If so, go over and talk with them and see if they might be willing to let you have a Camaro Meet at the dealership. This will involve them contributing the all important and ever so secret and private "list" of Camaro Owners who bought from them. They won't give it to you because of privacy laws, but if you find an employee with a 2010 Camaro, and that employee has the same interest as you...

You see where I'm going. It takes time though, I started working on my local dealership last October and we didn't have the meet until last Saturday. It was a long haul and some times I felt like giving up, and other times I felt like punching someone, but it was worth it. You can check out our thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71808 Be sure to check out the pictures and the poll, post up if you want to show some support.

Best Wishes and I'll check back in on you to see how your progress is going.

Lani

Thanks for the support Guys I would like to start a group here since we have St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island causeways to ride on. I like the roads on the coast and having the Top Gun soundtrack going nothing like going over a bridge at sunset and hearing Highway to the Danger Zone.

How far of a drive are you from Savannah? Just curious because my son lives there and the next time I go to visit him we might take a drive down your direction since he's talked about it before.

an hour or 45 mins depending on how traffic is and a lot of construction on I-95 down this way it is very nice once you get to St. Simons and Jekyll Island's they both are great rides especially at sunset

Is there a real romantic hotel or Bed and Breakfast that you would recommend? $300 is close to tops per night, but we'd go higher if it was a really nice place that's all inclusive for not only breakfast, but beach supplies with chairs & umbrella, and lunch or dinner or even desert. Hubby is retiring from the Army this summer and I want to take him somewhere we have never been, and we've already done Savannah and Tybee.

Hi Chuck, glad you checked in here

Would be really cool if you guys had something going by the time we made it out to the coast later this spring or early this summer. We'd be down for a cruise for sure and a low country dinner on the beach would be awesome!

Ahh, you would love Cedar Key Fl. I say it is like what Key West was 60 years ago. Nice quiet small town with beach and golfcart to get around. Although, Jekyll Island is pretty touristy around here if you are up for that.
