With this kit appx. 10hrs or 1 full day. Since nothing in the engine bay is moved at allit can be installed pretty quickly. The longest part will be removing the front bumper cover for the intercooler install.

The stock exhaust manifolds suck.
Stock manifolds do not suck! They are actually very good. The stock cast iron manifolds retain heat very well which provides excellant exhaust heat energy to spool the turbo with. On the LS engines we use stock manifolds alot. Some of the fastest outlaw LSX drag radial cars have used stock manifolds to the tune of 7.60's @ 190mph. I personally have made over 1000rwhp with a set of stock manifolds. We use them for a reason and that is they work!

That's great but for those of us with long tube or shorty headers we need to know if this kit will ever be made to be compatible with our cars.

I believe the web site is still under construction, so probably just used that pic until the kit is ready to ship.

I had LTs as well, which I plan to sell once I get it back. If you didn't keep your stock manifolds like me, you can pick up set on eBay for a reasonable price. With a turbo build, aftermarket headers don't provide much of a benefit, if any.

what about shorty headers? I don't really want to sell my long tubes but I guess I can go back to stock manifolds.

The stock manifolds are better and will last longer and retain heat better than a thin set of shorties with the turbo there is no reason not to use them.

What MPG are you getting now? (If you can keep your foot from the floor!)
