Congrats! I'm really interested to see what the gray stripe looks like with AGM.

The first ZL1's are bound to be bayed, inspected and re-inspected before "leaving the property." Chevrolet would probably like to avoid any negative press and in this day of instant public relations such as Camaro5.com, they must get it right the first time. I'm confident that will be the case. But baby, come to papa soon!!

Ode to ZL1 - I have the garage all setup for you which includes a lift, numerous Camaro 5th gen framed posters, custom metal signs that are painted and hung (including a bowtie with "ZL1" on top) and all of your Camaro older brothers - SS, Z28's and IROC look forward to meeting you. We'll tweak you a little bit, break you in then watch you get after those mustangs. Can you tell I'm a proud father? Heck, I need a ZL1 stork sign in the front yard of the shop!!

Your ninja edit skills were not fast enough grasshopper

And you're not being negative, you're being realistic. Fbodfather did say that vehicles produced early would be gone over with a fine tooth comb and deliveries likely wouldn't start happening until sometime in March.

CONGRATS........

YEP, They are going to keep them in the incubator as close to their birth FATHER (fbodfather that is) until they are ready to travel "home".

By baby went back to 8 cm dilation this morning (3300) and almost ready to enter the muscle car era!

Very EXCITING for sure!

No, local dealer but have visited Hennessey to plan mods which I have not decided completely yet.

If any of the ZL1's "Brother's" get jealous of the new "baby" coming home, I'd be honored to take custody of them, and open up my garage......... I mean "home" to one of them. Just let Uncle Derrick know o.k. buddy?

Congratulations!!!! Number four is very impressive. Hopefully you will not get stuck in QC for very long. Good luck with the new addition to the family. Don't forget to post pictures of the new arrival as soon as possible.

Here's info on your surviving cousin from 1969 from http://www.camaros.org/copo.shtml#rediscovery

Would be cool to photograph the two with each other if you could locate it...

-Quoted from website above-
#4 124379N608214 Cortez silver automatic
I personally located #4 parked on a lawn in Idaho in 1987. It had been
raced for a few years but not extensively modified. A frame-off
restoration was completed in 1990 and the car is now in a private
collection.
