Looks great, do the shorter springs affect the function of the factory shocks?

How do the springs ride?

My Eibach springs on my '12 were a good combination of drop and hardly any scrape. Not to mention Eibach springs have a 1 million mile warranty and are real inexpensive. If you order them through autoanything.com they have free shipping and 15% OFF for 1st time users. I took advantage of that plus their already Low Low price.
Here is the only pic I have.....not that great but gives you an idea.

EDIT: here is the before pic

How do the spring rates compare to stock springs? Is it stiffer? And how much?

Congrats on your 1" drop. Not to thread jack but what was the issue with your PFADT springs exactly? Were they the 1.25" drop springs?

I am about to slap some PFADT 1.25" springs on mine and just want to be aware of any possible issues that might occur...

Eibachs are a progressive rate spring:

FR 143- 222 lbs/in
RR 291 -485 lbs/in

Stock is (I believe from what I can find)

FR 165 lbs/in
RR 370 lbs/in

For the street progressive springs are fine, but for those those that will track their cars I would recommend a linear rate as they are more predictable.

pfadt no longer has the problem.....they just treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about when I called, and then publicly announced a fix for the issue I was having and never gave me a full refund or alignment. I can't support a company like that.

Damnit, now I want to lower mine! I just bought my 1LE a month ago. I previously owned two Mustang GT's (2010 and 2012). I swapped out the 2012 suspension with an Eibach kit (Struts, Shocks, Springs, and Strut mounts). With the Camaro, is it ok to just swap out the springs? Will the new springs support it enough that the ride will not suffer and the car will not bottom out with bumps? Forgive me as I am no mechanic!

Oh ya. Swapping out just the springs is what I've done to my past 4 rides. Totally fine. I didn't wanna do coilovers because the 1LEs have specific monotube shocks that the regular SS doesn't get.

Springs only is much less body roll and much less 4x4! You won't regret it.

Your car looks ahhhmazin'!

Cool...Yup, I just read the PFADT springs horror stories LOL. Majority of what I read was over a year or 2 ago so I think they have adjusted the length of the springs when not under load hopefully. I think mine will be OK...fingers crossed. Sorry you had a bad go with them. If I dont like em' I will opt for some BC coilovers.

What problem did you have with the PFADT?

popping creaking clunking noise on low speed turns. There's countless threads on that in the suspension section. This was when I lowered my previous white '12 SS back in late 11/ early 12. This is no longer a problem though. They fixed their issue, I just got the runaround which is why my preference is Eibach.

I did not know. Sorry to hear about that misfortune. You would think they would make things right. It's bad enough for the problem to occur in the first place, but to treat their customers like that is unacceptable.

Has anyone installed the H&R Sport springs. They have 1.4 frt 1.3 rr drop. I have some friends that have installed them on the German cars and they like them. But I would rather know how they work on the 1LE
