Black SS2 with Clear Bra Photos and Sandblast VIDEO!

Ok...trust me I looked all over the web for a Black Camaro (any black car as well) that had a clear bra installed. So, if you're thinking about saving your paint from stone chips, sand, tar, bird dung, bug guts, and getting a clear bra on your BLACK Camaro....I hope the link below and my pics help you to decide.

As you ponder whether you might want this for your sweet ride, ask yourself, "Am I ok with seeing the edge line of the clear bra or am I ok with seeing rock chips and sand pits?"

I went with the Venture Shield(lifetime warranty) vs the 3M Bra(5yr warranty). $624 including tax in N. VA. I'm certain after seeing what happened to my last car's front end, that for me this was a good investment.

Check out this video....it convinced me...

Just do some research on whether you want 3M or Venture Shield....2 most popular. 3M bought out VS but the life time warranty for VS is still good. Installer experience is where you want to spend your research time. Best of luck....as an owner of a Black Camaro, Black Corvette, and Black SUV, I think I'm making a sound investment.

I just couldn't handle that line. I know it protects from potential chips but thats all I would see evertime I looked at my car

Uh, yeah I would hate to see that fine line protecting my paint, I would much rather see a bunch of rock chips in my paint...

Hello!!! I had a clear bra on my last car, first clear bra I had ever gotten, and compared to other cars without it that are the same age, after that there was no question. One of the first mods I got, so now when I hear that ping or thud, I know if it hit where the protection film was there will be no worries!!!

But seriously, please consider the long term, it would help the resell value, as well as keeping the car looking great if you don't want to sell it in the future, it will still look new!!! Or at least newer!!!

Hmm pay like 3k and have them do the entire car for no visible lines! lol. Or maybe the entire hood/front fenders?

That line just drives me nuts or I would do it....There's a guy at my work that has a black Acura TSX and he had it clear bra'd. You can tell the paint is fading faster were there is no clear bra. It looks horrible.

Venture Shield product doesn't block UV so it won't fade.

You can also get the entire hood done for an additional $400. You really don't notice the line...the pics I took, the flash makes the line more visible than the naked eye. Just watch the video above....if you have a pitted windshield from sand smacking your glass, imagine what your paint looks and feels like over time.

I think you mean it will allow the paint under it to fade like the rest of the car?

also, why not go ahead and do the entire hood and front fenders then there would be no line..

also what about a strip above the windshield and behind the tires especially the rear tires to protect from debirs there too?
