Easy install just want a confirmation

Just installed the rx catch can from apex. I'm sure I did it right just wanted to make sure before I started driving down the road. Also, with did you do with your drain tube?

Personally I ditched the drain tube. It's a neat concept to drain it off to another location but in reality not all the oil drains from the tube. After the second or third time I used it I spent a week tracking down a "oil leak" that I thought I had. I eventually put down some cardboard to see where it's coming from and noticed that it was always right under the drain tube. Took the tube off and there was still some oil in the tube. Took the tube off and since then no more problems.

Thank you - I'm always nervous making cuts and holes on the car. This is my third time, but it never gets easy.

If you leave the drain open on mine long enough, it clears. I routed the drain tube through a hole in the frame to keep it from flapping around in the breeze.

Looks good. My drain tube is just draped down between some of the hoses down low. Hasn't gone anywhere and it's been months.

after reading your post, I had to quick-check that I wasn't in the Off Topic forum.
