Man thats some F'ed up sh!t. What it the name of this dealer so we can call them, email them and give them hell on the shiddy service they offer. If they did that to your Camaro that can do it it to all of ours. They need to condemn that dump of a dealer.

Hi, it's Ron Carter in Alvin Tx. They are a pretty good size of dealer, but crappy workmanship. First issue I've had with my car, just makes me crazy .

I won't take it back to them, so GM is trying to figure out what they should do because I refuse to pay for a service again to have it fixed.

I feel your pain. I just went through a bunch or crap with my Freeland Chevrolet in Nashville, TN. I paid them $1489.00 to do some work and they screwed it up so I had to drive it all the way to Jannetty Racing in CT to get it fixed properly. I have a thread on this as well. Good news is I got all my money back today by filing a claim against them. We all need to stand up to the dealers that do sub-par work. We all paid good money for these vehicle.

Here is What I had to write on both my survey and letter from my Jackwagon of a Dealer..

I am Sorry but Your Dealership has Done Nothing to give me a reason to give you a COMPLETELY SATISFIED Survey......From the purchase of my car from you which was the WORST
Experience I've ever had Buying a car to the Service that you now have COMPLETELY NOT SATISFIED ME. I really had my Doubts that the service in your Dealership was going to be any better or Different than my buying experience....and I was Right..From telling me that the problems in the paint on my roof were "all Taken Care of" with some "Special Product"...That was not...it is still the same...To Parking my Car With fresh paint DIRECTLY under a Tree that was dropping so much leaves and pollen on it that the ENTIRE car was coated yellow with pollen and the Fresh painted Trunk lid was COVERED With leaves and Bird excrement...I have been in the Automotive Industry for 25 years and would expect Service at the Dealership level to be alot more Professional than yours has presented itself...I mean who delivers a car from service like that? are you kidding me? You take my $40,000 car and treat it like that? When I am servicing a car, It does not matter if its 1 month 1year or 20 years old, I treat it as if it were my own car...When I came in for this warranty work I was really reluctant to bring it in for fear of this very type of problem I knew was going to happen. But I said to myself that I had to give your service a chance since the sales and service are two quite different departments.Well it seems that the incompetence is in every part of your dealership. I am truly sorry that I've had to Write this and will have to AGAIN give you a poor survey score but I have no choice. Maybe after enough bad reviews someone or something will be done to get your customer service at the Professional level it should be at. Because it's not even close....

Sincerely,
Dennis Wood

That's not the only problems I've had there either but man they are the worst.........going to try another one south of me where I first test drove a Camaro but could not make a deal on my trade...maybe the Service there i a t least a LITTLE better ....I Hope!

They finally got all the warranty issues taken care of. Everything appears to be in working order on that part. What's sad is I'm fighting them over a proper alignment. It's not out by far, but I was preached to the week before about it being with in spec, blah blah blah and they never put it on the machine until I brought it back again. The front left is still out, which was the original issue. And I paid for it.

Rolando called me yesterday to say hi apparently because he had nothing. He spoke with the service mgr who told him I was provided a doc showing the car was in spec. But he would not provide to Rolando, so I did. My patients is lowering real quick, how much "research" does it take. Someone needs to push Rolando along or I'm moving up the food chain.

Edit... my OnStar light is now red called them today and they said to take it to the dealer they couldn't diagnose. Also use the AC and it is cooling however there seems to be a little more air than normal coming from the foot well when it's not on the foot setting. Talked to another dealer today, going by for a consult on Friday. If I have to leave it because Ron Carter did something wrong, which is very likely) be expecting a warranty call from Norman Frede to fix the issue and a bill for my rental.
BTW.... I left a message for Rolando this afternoon since he never called back as promised...again.
