You could give us a tour of the engine plant when . . . I mean if the LS3 gets anounced for the Camaro.

wow! awesome! kinda disappointed to hear about the supercharger, but that's just me. i prefer after-market s/c. oh well, good 2 hear about the weight! in a sense, this is a lot more valuable than pics! now the only question is: 3 engines? 4 turbo, 6, 8; 4 turbo, 6, 8 s/c; 6, 8, 8 s/c????? and just cuz they've seen those engines doesn't mean they will all make it to production. just my $.02

For some reason I thought an IRS and LSD were a given for the Camaro. That’s a concern for me, more so the IRS than LSD because you could add an LSD with out a great deal of cost if you wanted it. I already know it to be less agile than my car but I don’t think I could do a live rear axle no matter how good it looked or how fast it was.

Awesome writeup. Felt like I was there... which I shoulda been since I live not too far! Excited hearing about supercharged version and GT500 as benchmark. This virtually says that the top camaro version will be some 500hp monster. Paddle shifters eh, I don't think I remember seeing that on any interior spyshots so far right?

I'm pretty sure LSD will be standard on all V8 Camaros and at least an option V6 models. It's been done like that before and I can't see it not happening again. Perhaps even stability control will be standard, because I thought I remember reading somewhere that that is supposed to be standard on all cars, or something along those lines...

Sounds like you guys had an awesome time, I would have, had I been there.
Nothing ground breaking was released so I'm sure Punchy is fine guys, all he did was pump up the car more by bringing in a group of Camaro lovers. I could see the proving ground employees being nervous but it worked out and now with no more tours, they can work on the Camaro with not needing to hide anything. Let the guys get back to work so we can get this beast out to everyone by early next year! Oh...
