Alarm in a box
Just a little project. I had a spare Avital 2 way remote paging alarm w/remote start. So was messing with a toy, B&Decker 12 volt jump starter. When I got the idea to just wire the alarm to that 12 and play around with it.
It can be put in a car or wherever you have DC. Has 2 zone sensor for inside and outside, motion etc. In the car the siren that could be used is the battery backup siren from DEI. With this they could yank this box out, your pager inside is going off and the siren. Even though they have the alarm ripped out. It's not a serious thing just an experiment. The wheel theft of course got me thinking and this thread explains it more. Of course the remote start and light triggers etc are not connected. |
