My car is being held hostage in Dearborn, MI. I'm just sick about it! It's been there "On Hold" since 3/14/11. Nobody can give me any answers. My fear is that these cars could be stuck in legal red tape for months.

I was told by my chevy dealer about the strike and they told me chevy contracted another carrier to deliver my and other car to the dealership. I received my vechile the day after the strike started. ask your dealer about the new carrier.

They are using different carriers now. It doesn't help the cars that are in Allied posession and not being released.

Beyond just making a bad business decision they have committing a crime. They have stolen $47 million worth of cars. In addition to a massive law suit I would be contacting attorney general offices across the country. I might even have GM reps go down to the Allied depots the trucks are parked at and having them call the local Sheriff's office if they refused to hand over my vehicles.

im with you 100%..the unions want their members to get paid for what they think the company can afford instead for what the company thinks they are worth..try that concept at your place of work and see what happens...

No doubt about it. I am so glad that my education, experince, knowledge, skill, work ethic and principals have placed in a position to be able to bargain on my own instead of having someone else do it for me. The "legal" part of those "collective" agreements have out survived their usefulness. The company and the union are both wrong.
