This is my first time posting, so I hope this goes well. Nice job guys on these installation instructions. I've been a little put off by the installation instructions from AAC, the instructions seem to be for the LED Halo's and not for the CCFL's. Your documenting this is helping me to do my install of the CCFL Halo's and Webelectronics sequential turn signals. I will post my installation pics and notes when done.

I think Orange5thGen is right about not cutting the wires. See attached pic. Also do I glue the CCFL's with the AAC supplied epoxy or are you guys using silicone? Also due I glue the red lens covers back onto the light housings with the same or silicone? I wish the instructions from AAC where better!

BC, I used the supplied epoxy to glue the CCFL's to the clear lens. I put a blob at each CCFL end and then pushed a bead at the bottom of the "U" and wiped off any excess from the front of the lamp on that bead only. I used Liquid Nails silicone from HD to assemble the red lens back on and to fill in the wire exit holes. Good luck.

Correct - do not cut the wires between the inverters and lamps. PM me you're email address and I can send you my 13 pages instructions.

Don O did a real fine job with the write up. One last thing. Mounting of the inverters. How did everybody else mount them. I tried panduit straps. Was not happy with that. Electrical tape. Thats not gonna work. I was not gonna just leave them dangle. So I put a hugh clob of silicon on top of one of the light houses and set the inverter on it. Works great.

Bone, I used a right angle bracket mounted to the outside stud of the inner taillight. Then ty-wrapped them to the bracket.

That was a real good idea to mount a 90 degree bracket. The next time I open up mine. I'm gonna do the same. Thanks

I am also going to use a 90 degree bracket, but I am running the inverter the opposite direction across the 90 degree bracket to help facilitate easier light bulb changes should I ever have to change the light bulbs in the future.

Is there anyone making these to sell?? They really look nice. I'd love to have a set, but not much into electrical installations. Thanks in advance

You can get an angle bracket at Home Depot. I happened to have this one from some other project.

I tried to run the video in Windows Media Player, didn't work so well. You can just copy the video to your computer and check it out.

Looks great. Nice install too. And I really like they way you think. Using a atx power supply to power your inverts. No thats thinking outside the box.

Questions, questions:

So these Afterburners are on as the running lights and the bulb is not burning? Is this bright enough at night with just the afterburners on as taillights? And the bulb only comes on with application of the brakes?
