I wouldnt paint the V8, I would get something like this. maybe one in black.

The Camaro emblems are the same ones that are on the fenders. I have a 6.2 emblem that is going over the V8. This cover is for show only, my original cover will be for driving.

You are dead on it........I have a chrome one coming in the mail from RPI as we speak.

It looks good, but I'm not a fan of anything that says "Camaro" on it beyond the fender lettering.

Nothing else on the car says "Chevrolet", and to me, it's a better fit for the faux valve cover lettering. The paint work looks really good.
