Another interesting find...Yep...the Current V6 VR certainly work work on this! Heck, with that new MAF sensor, depending on how its mounting location is shaped, it may not work for any of the current aftermarket CAI's.

engine cover sux, but that plastic manifold is hideous. I like my '10 aluminum, thank you very much.

My 2011 V6 didn't come with a front strut bar. Was I supposed to get one? Or is it a 2012 thing? I didn't see it listed in the new features of the 2012 V6.

Wow, the LLT sure was short-lived. And IT was the motor everyone was raving about back in '09....

Its kinda funny now i think about it. Why would chevy put a dated motor in this car if they knew in two short years it would be replaced?.

Took delivery of my '12 Black, Black, Inferno 2LT RS LFX Vert Monday.
Loving it. Engine seems powerful. Still breaking it in. Had it up to 85 this afternoon. Definitely, wimpy on the exhaust notes. But, that's what my sons can get me for Christmas. Was thinking of the Vram intake, now need to see how they make it work. After driving a SS, the LFX still doesn't want to launch itself like the LS3, 99, BUT, it is far smoother than the LLT it replaced. I will keep updating. Only at 150 miles right now. |
