Our calipers...$1600 a piece!
I have a working customer relationship with my service manager,in fact i mostly deal with him.I showed him this pic,he sent it to GM and they are replacing my front's. This has happened at my last 3 track events.I know some have said this is normal, but i don't like them crying They want the old ones back,so good to see they are taking this issue serious. The 1LE calipers are $1600 a piece, thank god for warranties.

Yes,the reason the wrench and hose are on there, someone told me they needed to bleed them.I just wanted to take a quick pic.Like i said, it has happened at my last 3 track days, and my brakes were HOT!...which means,i was having fun

That's 1600$ thru GM though... You can buy a reman CTS-V 6piston Brembo caliper from rock auto for $340 and sometimes find them cheaper than that. And the rears which are the same between the 2 cars are $220ish. Why not upgrade with a bolt-on rather than have warranty claims everytime you go track the car?
Payin $1600 for a caliper thru GM is like NASA paying $5k for a toilet seat... There's more efficient ways to accomplish the goal lol...

Yes,i said WTF and he said the were expensive.I know from my working relationship with him that he is taking this seriously, as well, he will be one of my passengers for the Fontana track day in May,yes my service manager is going for a ride .Those that dont know, there are a handful of us 1LE'rs that are running Fontana in May. So hope more can make it.

Sorry for asking......is the problem due to the fact that brake fluid started leaking when you broke loose the bleeder in stead of it exiting thru the hose?

What is the price difference between SS Brembo's and 1LE Brembo's? Are there any differences other than the paint color?
