FS: Nitto NT05R 315/40 18 Drag Radials

SOLD!

Ok, I am putting up my tires for sale. These are GREAT drag radials, they are just too much tire for me right now. I am trying some smaller drag radials for now since I am trying to get the absolute best time I can out of my car with just bolt ons. I will probably regrett this once I throw my cam in, but oh well.

These tires have only been to the track TWICE with less than 10 runs on them TOTAL. Also, I DO NOT do big john force burn outs, I just heat them up a bit and they do great. I did drive to the track on them and honestly they drive GREAT. You can't even tell you are driving on a DR, I even drove them in the rain and they are VERY predictable and stable for drag radials.

They are the PERFECT size for the 18x10.5 replica Corvette wheels that are about $300 a pair! For a dirt cheap track set up. They are VERY meaty at 12.6" wide and only 28" tall, not almost 29" tall like the 305/45 tires everyone runs. Our HEAVY cars DO NOT need a 29" tall tire!

If you are thinking about getting drag radials I STRONGLY suggest that you go to 18" wheels.
I went from 13.003 @ 111.278 2.2 60' with stock 20" wheels with Pirellies to 12.669 @ 114.165 2.2 60' with 18" wheels & street tires to 12.25 @ 115.154 1.89 60' with the 18s and these drag radials. NO other changes other than wheels and drag radials. All times are corrected for DA.

They cost about $740 shipped from Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NIT-207550/)

Nitto website (http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/nt05r)

NT05R beat Mickey Thompson ET Street DR (http://www.superchevy.com/technical/...est/index.html)

I am selling them for $450 if you pick them up or I'll ship them for an extra $50. 972=814=4550
