How does horsepower and bolt ons work
I am aware that adding bolt ons bring the back wheel horsepower up.
But does it bring the ACTUAL horsepower up? I know my v6 is labeled at 312 hp (I think?) So does that go up aswell? Or just the rear wheel? IFFFF just the rear wheel.... Wouldn't adding stuff like an icolator/porting manifolds/throttle bodies NOT bring it up as much as everyone is saying IF you already have cold air intake/long tube headers/hi flow cats? Like.... can I literally at 312 to the back wheel? |

Booooosted.

Power goes up at the flywheels first. Then back to the wheels losing a percentage of power through the drive train.

Basically different mods show gains in different parts of the RPM range. So some may show gains within lets say 3000-5000RPM but at 6000 the rwhp # may be the same as it was prior to adding the mods. It also depends on what mods you do, some like an underdrive pulley or 1-piece drive shaft won't actually add hp it just reduces the amount lost that is being produced by the engine.

If u want to make 300+ rwhp you're going to need to do more than just bolt ons |
