i had 19.6 from first tank,17.7 from this tank of gas and almost empty,so i need tird tank of gas and i dont have 600 miles on it yet...(the milage i specify is from tel/tel)....19 mpg from a 19 gal. tank should get around 360 miles a tank which means i should have nearly 1100 miles on car...and i have only somewhat gotten on it about 3 times,im still breaking in....have not even thought about trying launch control til about 1500 miles...maybe my problem is that i live only 1.5 miles from work...oh and i do know how to drive a manual ,if that is what you may be thinking,..at lunch i had 697 miles on her and the tel/tel says i have 42 miles til empty

I'm not exactly sure about that... I think we will soon learn approximately how many cars are affected, then we'll start to track those affected cars. Otherwise all unaffected V8 M6 cars will be delivered after a short delay in QC...

At least that is how I understand it.

also...........the poor Hennessey folks and others pulling 600hp outta these gotta be bent..........no warranty there from GM!

if these won't hold 426hp stock, 600hp is outta the question.

Does anyone know how the other camaro models will be effected production wise. Will they make more v6's and v8's autos or will the plant loose speed in trying to asses the problem on the line?

well unfortunately i had to read all the crap in these passed 8 pages to see the FEW good post worth reading...bottom line is my car is in QC till further notice because of the V8 M6 problem...i really could care less about who is to blame, shit happens...i just hope my car get to mean b4 august...all i wanted was to have my car to enjoy before winter rolls around...its funny how i was all excited that my car got built and shipped b4 the break for me to prolly now watch cars built after the break get built with a good transmission and make it home b4 mine...guess the jokes on me

According to the update provided at 2:30 PM EDT, production will not be effected. M6 SS Camaros will still be produced. They will be put on QC hold thereafter. This means that production of other models will also not be effected.
