Any good tips for getting a Jack under a Camaro?

Pics are better.

Basically, a "what to do" and "what not to do" would be good.

I'd like to avoid putting jack or jackstands anywhere they might bend or unduly scar the car.

Yeah, it's good to have good ramps (unlike my sliding rhinos that I'm scared to use) but advice on jacking sans ramps appreciated too.

Any wisdom on the subject appreciated.

Drive up on some 2 X 10 s, this will raise the car up enough to get the jack underneath.

They make low profile car ramps, great for not scraping the front end. Make sure you get the hard plastic type, you can get them at any auto store

I can get my 1 1/2 ton jack under each side of the car to take the wheels off - there's a great spot behind the front wheels that the jack slips right into. I also have Race Ramps which are great! Just bought a 3 ton jack from Sears yesterday to get ready to do the Header install

Sorry, no pictures.

Where should jack stands be positioned to get all 4 corners up?
