I've found a huge difference between Edge and UMTS when I was on the AT&T network, as well as a huge difference once I moved to Verizon.

I love AT&T's ads rebutting the "map" of Verizon 3G coverage where they show the coverage they have to compare. The map is for all coverage, not 3G. AT&T's 3G coverage is a joke, concentrating in larger cities. And, with all the iPhones using it, it is currently inadequate.

I'll stick with Verizon and enjoy 4G which will be on Verizon soon. Who knows when AT&T is going to even go to 4G, lol (maybe 2011). Verizon is expected to have 4G later this year.

I'd rather not have yet another 'app' that just does what a browser can do. It WOULD be nice if they'd fix the site/forum to translate to mobile browsers better though. That would serve those with and without iphones equally.

You couldnt be more right, there 3G is a joke, and your right, its only in the big cities. seems like 99 percent of the time around here, i have like 2-3 bars on the E signal, even though i have towers in the area, sometimes its worse, and i get NO SERVICE-That happens often if I further north away from the big cities. My sister has Verizon, gets 3g all over the place, and full signal places i dont.

There is a great app for this already, C5 just needs to set up the forum for Tapatalk, it works AMAZING on other forums.

I've been wanting the same thing for a while now. I develop iPhone Apps for a living. I'd be willing to do it if there's enough interest in it. We're also looking to expand into developing android apps too. Just let me know.
