Sounds like something is broken, or belts are rubbing / slipping.

I prefer, the sound of centri's and the race valve blow off which sounds like a turbine engine of a fighter jet.

What??!?!? lol that whine is ridiculous! Sounds awesome

And we all know how badass the Prochargers sounds. Everytime I roll around with Joe, makes me want to procharge the v6 but it doesnt sound nearly as beast when its teamed with the roar of a v8

That's exatcly my point, after having a ProCharger w/ the race valve I could not listen to that whining sound. The spool of the centri, with the sound of the valve blowing off air as it opens and closes is totally awesome.
I could not drive for long durations of time hearing that whining sound, it would drive me absolutely nuts after a while.

Chris, what will drive me nuts is when I get to drive next to your car this summer, im going to go broke buying a v8 and procharging it. Could only dream of going LSX one day

When do you plan on pulling her out? My date is March 18th for now

Sorry for the thread jack

Yes that whine is sex

Well, we still have a few things we're doing to finish her up, catch can, guages, shift light, re-install end-links, wheel alignment and finally we'll be done (for now). I have other projects but I want to drive the car instead of look at videos and sound clips.
So, if weather holds up I'm planning on getting her on the road around the same time as yourself.
Honestly, I can't wait to drive it everytime I try to get to the shop for a joy ride it snows, this machine is really insane at this point.
It will be fun to link up with some of the local guys like Bruce, Joey, Allan, et al, to do a few meet, greet, eat and freak the road joy-rides, and all of our builds are different so nice to compare differences.
For sure let's keep in touch (sending PM now), so mid-March we can burn up the roads a bit (once I re-learn how to drive).
