Today!! SEPT18th! Emerald Coast Dragway Sport Compact vs Domestic RACE

This Saturday September 18th Emerald Coast Dragway will have a Sport Compact vs. Domestic Shootout.

There will be an Sport Compact vs. Domestic Bracket Shootout. Sport Compact vs. Sport Compact and Domestic vs. Domestic then the winner of each class will square off for an overall Champion. (Domestic cars must have street tires or drag radials unless you have a manual transmission)

There will be two Sport Compact only heads up classes
1. FWD Street Tire Headsup Shootout
No Slicks Allowed….First to the finish line wins no excuses!
2. Sport Compact Outlaw
Any FWD, RWD, AWD Sport Compact.
Slicks OK….. First to the finish line wins no excuses!

Then we have the Midnight Madness Battle Royal!!!!
5 fastest Sport Compacts vs. 5 fastest Domestics
Handicapped Pro Tree based on your quickest time
Any thing goes for Sport Compact, Domestic must be on street tires or drag radials unless using a manual transmission.
First to the finish line wins!! No excuses

There will also be a Street Bike Bracket race, Grudge Races from 6:30 till ??, and at 10pm Midnight Madness Arm Drop Racing
Gates Open @ 5pm
Time Trials @ 6:30 See flier on Emerald Coast Dragway Website
$10 to watch $20 to race
Come on out and bring your friends, will be a lot of fun and good safe racing!!!

I was there, but it ended up being a more import thing than domestic. I ran the car a few times and during the time trial portion and didn't stay for the rest. It was my first night at the track in the Maro, so I was a little worried about entering the competition as my best was only a 9.2.
