Does the Borla S-Type Catback in a L99 have droan????

I am thinking about getting the Borla S-Type Catback exhaust, but I don't know of anyone that has the exhaust on a L99. Can someone let me know if it still has a great deal of droan?

When I installed the Borla sport cat back on my ss, I definitely had drone, so much that I was happy to void my warranty and get afm tuned out... Best decision I've made.

Was the droan more intense than the stock exhaust?

I put a magnaflow on my 99 mustang gt and even though it has a nicer sound than the flowmasters did, it still has a drone at highway speeds, just not as bad. I think you're going to get drone with any exhaust that has a raspy sound to it. I was going to go with the S-type, but went with the Touring instead. Quiet while cruising, but nice and loud when jumping on the gas. After all we've got Camaros, not Honda accords

Corsa "NO DRONE"
If you search there has to be at least 10 threads on this subject.

People are getting drone and AFM confused. No... drone was non-existent for me until headers..then yes, you will have some drone with the S type. Personally, never bothers me. I keep my music around level 10-13 and don't notice any different..

HOWEVER, the AFM is a biatch. If you are ok with possibly blowing powertrain warranty and you do plan on tuning it will not be a problem. AFM with aftermarket exhaust besides Corsa is noticeable.

I just could not give up the tone of Borla S type...it is by far the best in my opinion, Corsa has a slightly raspier tone, but for what they offer with specific setups for L99, they are very, very hard to beat.

No drone here that I can tell. If there is some, it doesn't bother me since I rarely drive the car.
