Door panels and ABL (Ambient Lighting)
So I am thinking about getting some door panels off an ss or something that has the abl in the panels already. My question is, if i do buy them would the ABL plug and play or would I have to hard wire it into the wires? I have a 2012 LS. Thanks.

I think most just hardwire into the light for the window switches. As far as I know unless it has ABL there are no plugs in the doors.

Everyone T-taps them into the window switch light wires. I set my 2012 Camaro 1SS up that way and it worked out well.

Just be sure that they are actual, GM-painted panels and not painted cloth panels. Also, they may, or, may not come with the light pipes or LEDs. We can set you up, in that case.
