Screw what everyone says here, get a Makita Rotary. Nothing's easier than one of those for beginners.

Back when some of us old people began the rotary was all that was available. Those early machines were either on or off. No speed selector and nobody had ever heard of foam pads. Show cars still looked great. You don't know how easy all of the new stuff allows a beginner to produce a professional correction the first time right out of the gate. Guys this stuff isn't rocket science.Just pick out a da and DO IT !!!!

I got the PC and Adams pads because it appeared to be the easiest system to use from a beginners perspective (color coded, how can you mess that up). That particular setup has a large support base on here and Adams own forum. I feel like starting out more power is possibly a bad thing? The PC was also $100 after coupon and cash back buying it from Home depot with free shipping. I'll trash the paint on the Grand Cherokee first before I hit the Camaro though.

for all the advice!

It will also damage the paint, unless you're experienced with it. No one said the PC was better, just much more beginner friendly.

Just so you know, ALL of the different manufacturer pads are color coded. The color coding is pretty much standard across all the manufacturers as well.
