Cause every time GM builds a blue Camaro, nobody buys it. Then the guys that did want it wait too freaking long, and GM stops selling it. I can just about bet the 6th gen will come in a desirable blue. It won't be on the list long. So you better save your pennies, and be prepared to jump when the time comes.

in the sun especially it is the most stunning blue on this car bar none.

Exactly, we need a blue that looks like blue in all lighting. Not something that you need direct sunlight to tell if its not black or gray. Then it is just a wanna be black! Ha ha ha. Black comes in just one shade, not bad Henry Ford!

I can drive for weeks without seeing a blue Camaro.. makes my car a bit more special in my area.

Aqua Blue Metallic hands down the best 5th gen color

I've always like the '93 Corvette "Bright Aqua Metallic" I even painted a few electric guitars in this color.

To me it's a "new color" but exudes the older Marina Blue and similar colors on the 64-67 Chevrolet muscle cars
