Just like the title says, here's how the Junkman maintains his wheels. This is also how the Junkman reacts when a hot chick rolls past the garage....

Good Video Junkman! what kind of brush do you use to clean the tires? I have one now but it has a long handle on it and I rather have one without the handle

I don't use a brush. I use a wash mitt and I don't really clean the tires unless they are muddy.

Would not be good for painted wheels... imo

I also HATE spray wheel shine. Pump spray or aerosol foam spray. You spend all that time cleaning your rims, just to have remove the over spray from the rubber treatment. I went looking for a GEL tire treatment and bought this today:

Armor all - Tire Shine Gel. I have not used an armor all products since the 90s. But it was handy and came with a applicator.

It went on good and I did use very much product. I think it turned out good, its a dark black "clean" look. It did not leave a "wet" look, just nice and black and clean. Next time I will post before and after pictures.

I'm with you on sprays...stupid..all over my wheels....and I did it for years....

but use a spray on a sponge applicator and they work well - I have 4 I use:
Poorboys natural look for matte finsih,
Stoner's more shine for a nice black look.
Blackfire Tire gel for longevity
Wolfgang all purpose rubber and plastic protectant.
