Tuning in Albuquerque?

Hey guys, recently did a cam install in my car and now need a tune. I'll be moving to Albuquerque here in about 2 weeks so does anyone know a good tuner or a preferred tuner in Albuquerque? Thanks in advance!

Never been to Southwest speed, but he seems to do a lot of 5th gens. I've had my fourth Gen at solid tech, Sean did a good job with it. Most of my buddies have had there cars tuned by Sean at solid tech as well.

Thanks guys. Have you guys heard about David "Sycho"? I've gotten a few recommendations to go to him as well.

Heard of him. Not a big fan of his online attitude and "i'm the best ever" crap. Some people seem to be happy. I rather goto a shop that has a place to back it up, and has built a bunch of 1000+hp cars, than a guy that tunes on the side. Do what you want though.

Motiva does a lot of tuning also here in Albuquerque. They have done some monster builds. Best best is to call around and see who can give you exactly what you are looking for. Everyone will have a horror story, as well as props to whoever they use.

That's probably what I'm gonna end up doing, call around and see who has the best options for me. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it!

I used David "Sycho" Regis for my tune about a 14 months ago. My car runs and drives absolutely flawless. He does do tuning on the side, as he runs a drilling business with his family. I'm extremely happy with his work. Good luck on whoever you decide. Oh yeah, Welcome to Albuquerque (when you get here)!!

Seems the 5th Gens are all we have seen the last 8 days in a row. LOL They are popular and every body has one around here.

Agreed. While we're the "new kids on the block" in the 505, I know our experience outweighs a few others. I have nothing bad to say about Sean at Solid or Scotty at Motiva. I send them work, they send us work. Everybody has a place.

There is a tuner for every customers' needs here locally. Some fit better with others honestly. There are vehicles we just won't tune while others jump at the opportunity.

Swing by our place of business anytime, I'll be happy to show you around and show ya what and how we do things at SWS.

Welcome aboard!
