My 1982 Z28

Purchased in 1986, has never seen snow. 78,000 original miles. 305 Cross Fire- Auto- loaded. I have babied this car since I bought it! Love this car!
Putting my order in for a 2014 2SS-RS-1LE come February 1st. That way I get my new car after winter (for the most part here in MI).

First pic was at the Woodward Dream Cruise a couple years ago. Second pic is in my race shop. Sorry about the mess! It is a bit cleaner these days since I sold the racecars.

Hope the pictures load and make it into this post! New to the forum.

Some really sweet 3rd gens posted here.
Here are a couple of 3rd gens I had back in the day.
The first one is an 83 Z-28 I bought back in 86 with 24,000 mikes on it.
The second one was an 87 Iroc 305 w/a factory 5spd manual. I bought it off e-bay back in 2005 as a father/son project. Sold it 2008.

The previous owner modified a 2nd gen hood scoop to the factory RS hood.

I'm not a huge fan but it doesn't look to bad. I will be selling once I get my cowl hood.

Your hood looks good in the pic, white92rs. I like the SS hood and the sunoco/jongbloed hood best. Whichever i get will be paired with the Z28 wing.

Here is what mine looks like now. Theres more to it than meets the eye.

Thanks I appreciate it, great looking thirdgen you got there I'm sure there's plenty more that the eyes don't see lol. I agree those are the two sharpest hoods on the market. I'm leaning towards the sunoco hood myself. I wasn't a fan of the z28 spoiler at first but it's grown on me.

Our shop Car AKA marks first car and hes the orig owner, we are in the middle of freshening her up, a lil make up a new pair of shoes and a few more ponies under the hood (1100) to be exact

finishing up the suspension, getting some new recaro seats, and finishing up the under the hood assembly and she shall be on the road by this summer, and she will be a driver!

white92rs, we have very similar taste. Those wheels look great on there. Been looking at those myself but can't convince myself to pull the trigger. As much as i want 18's I feel better about either ctw's or Ronals (both 17x9). I'm too cheap for the forged wheels i really want.

Jon@bowlerperformance, that thing is BA! What all is in there? what rear end? Any videos of it in action?
