No...it wouldnt run high 12s stock...not even with a tire. Has never happened and will never happen.
A high 13 is a respectable time for a stock GN. They trap around 100mph stock. I could see a mid 13 best case scenario. Cars such as this can have their definition of stock blurred by the owner very easily. With a few slight mods and an increase in boost a GN could appear mostly stock and be very capable of solid 12's. But totally stock 12's would NEVER happen. I dont think even with a tire it would be possible. Just not enough mph / hp in the car when stock. |

I was going to say...I have absolutely NO idea what my car does 0-60 in...I just know it goes 12.1 @ 118 with a crappy 60' because I'm still trying to figure out how to launch it lol.

Did somebody say Buick?
The GN and GNX are very overlooked. Being a Buick guy back in the late '80s and '90s and being in the Buick Performance Group for years, it's hard to recall a stock IROC spanking a stock GN. I recall some teething issues with the TPI on the Chevy, although I'm sure that enthusiasts have resolved that by now
