Good catch. Did you use a special paint for your whipple shaft cover. I would like to paint mine.

Going good. Been enjoying the hell out of it all summer. Still just with the base Kenne Bell 2.8 kit on it as of now. But I've got a lot of parts in the garage ready for my winter project. I plan to add a BTR stage 2 cam, LT headers, injectors, fuel pump....and all other minor bits and pieces needed to do that correctly. And of course...a tune next spring to cap all off. And...I've got a RX Super Choller system ready to go on as well.
My goal over the winter is to add the above mentioned parts to maximize the stock LS3 internals. My longer term goal would be to eventually forge the engine. Having fun long the way! |

Below is the paint that I used. For the lettering, I just used paint markers. I think I used about 5-6 coats of paint, followed by several coats of clear, same brand and type.
