Wind deflector
Anybody have the wind deflector from ChevyMall? Does it restrict rear view? Can you still use the back seat?
Thanks in advance.

I don't have one (yet) but you cannot use the backseat as its shaped like an L. It mounts across the back seats, then up across the back of the front seats. Not sure about visibility.

I received a wind screen with my vehicle purchase. The screen attaches to either side of the rear interior, just behind the front seats. The screen is L shaped so the flat part sits above the rear seat. Installed, seating in the rear is not an option. The material is something like mesh or a window screen. Lighting and distance dictate visibility.

This is a past thread. You can use the search option on the site.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ht=wind+screen I have one and have ridden in ones with the little one behind the back seat. They would help the people in the back seat but would not help front seat riders.

If you need to have people in back seat the wind restricter does cut down on some of the turbulence in the front but it doesnt totally eliminate it like the other design would but you can also still use it and the back seat

I have the OEM wind deflector and it mounts in stock mounting holes. You can't use the backseat for passengers once the deflector is in, but you can still use the seat for storage. The material is a black web/mesh material and is see-thru. I have left it up for days in my car even with the top up. If you need to see, it folds down in a "stowed" position.

I found one in my trunk unopened after I bought it. After using it I love it and now my wife is more apt to ride with the top down. Kids can't sit in the back with it up, but you can take it out and put away in about 15 seconds.
If it broke for some reason, don't see how this could happen, but I would buy another tomorrow.

I have the OEM one also...works great. It's not as slick looking as some of the glass\lighted models behind the back seat but it works!
