That pedal extension looks to be the cure. I have a full SRP pedal set on the way so I'll chime in as well once I get it installed.

Classic stuff on the Senna video. I have no idea what the pat-pat-pat on the throttle is though, never have seen anyone else ever do that. There is no pro driver who is not skilled at H&T (unless there is an auto-blipper/paddle-shifter).

Hey Z are you mounting all of the pedals or just the throttle? Looks like the OP ordered just the throttle, so I think I will follow that route.
Agree on the Senna Vid, I'd guess it's something with the handling or adjusting the slip angle of the car.

Should help a lot, I installed a full set of pedals and pushed the brake pedal closer to the gas as well. Need to be sure brake hgt fully depressed still allows heel access to gas pedal.

That was part of Senna's style and how he would get the car to dance on the ragged edge. Not something for amateurs or even most pros to be messing with.

The heel & toe part however, is text book perfect and something that everyone should strive to emulate.

With my size 12s, I'd be afraid I would be on the gas accidentally while braking on the right edge of that pedal.

I do like to emulate Senna with the white socks and slip ons though.

Sorry, I missed your post

I ordered the SRP set of 4 but only installed the dead pedal and throttle pedal. Though being this would build up the height of the throttle pedal. Bottom line- it's still a bit tricky, but now I can H/T even on the street if I want to

This is the only thing that's kept me from trying this pedal; I'm already tight on legroom and don't want to add another layer to the gas pedal...

I'm 12 and no problem...remember the camaro pedals are very far apart much more than other cars. I tried wearing hiking boots recently and turned around immediately. it's only 2 screws and if it works against you then pop it off and thats $40 down the drain. You will not notice a height change.
