Alpine Dask Kit Options

I see there are two versions of the dash kit, the KTX-CMO and the KTX-CMO-S, with the only difference being an "Alpine specific steering wheel control interface". I want to retain my SWC, but I'm not using an Alpine head unit. I'm using my Kenwood.... So, the big question is which Alpine kit do I need?

Thanks!

There is only one kit, Its the KTX-CMO. Alpine is not gonna release the KTX-CMO-S, your steering wheel controls will be retained.

Ok direct from Alpine......."The KTX-CMO-S is the old original part number that never released. The KTX-CMO is the correct and ONLY part number for the Alpine dash kit and it WILL work with other headunits as far as the steering wheel control you just select which brand unit being used in the set up menu."
