octane fuse pull
I have a 2013 SS auto. I picked it up in January and I know the dealer filled it with 87 octane. Should I do the fuse pull or is there something with the car that will dictate whether or not it needs to be done?
If it needs to be done can someone add the how to link? Thanks |

Doesn't hurt. Just pull fuses #5 and #20 from the engine bay fuse box.

You should run at least 2 tanks of premium first, just to make sure all 87 octane is gone first

I did the fuse pull this weekend, let the car sit since I was out of town.
I got in the car yesterday, AND hello..... night and day difference. VERY HAPPY I stumbled across this information. If you are even questioning if lower Octane has been run through the car, definetly do this!!!!!
