I didn't realize there was a spearate thread just for IBM verts! Well then, just gotta share - this is Hubby's vert, not mine (he rarely logs in, so I do the talking

Rare Gem Might be 1 of 1
My wife and I are the proud owners of a imperial blue vert Fully loaded with the extra opshions, polished 20" wheels short throw hurst shifter and crome back tail lights, One of 13 factory SS stripes for the 2011 Camaros. I payed a company for imfo on our car but Chevrolet did not let all info on the Camaros at the time, I dont have the info in front of me as Im away at work, but will be pretty close on guessing here. 2011 Camaro's was 719 cars built 188 had the short throw shifter, I think its like 330 have the 6 spd and LS3 motor, only 14 imperial blue, and only 13 painted SS stripes from the factory so that makes ours pretty rare I will post if it is a 1 of 1 next month.

Yeah, I had a terrible time finding exactly what I wanted... PSU alum, so had to have the imperial blue w/ white stripes. Worst of all, there was one dealership that had it within 500 miles, and they were complete dirtbags! It's the 2SS/ RS, 6spd, Hurst shifter.

Hi guys! Newbie! Don't even have my camaro yet :( but I've been reading here voraciously for three weeks, and we'll definitely be buying a vert soon! I'm big on research, and was trying to decide on a color. We went to see a 2012 IBM vert and what a beautiful color! It's impossible for photos to do it justice, IMO. When we got to the dealership, it was partly sunny, got fully cloudy, rained, sun came out, and then the sun started to set and we were amazed at the shifting tones. For now at least, we've decided to buy a 2013. I think there aren't many IBM verts out there, so in case anyone's looking for one, thought I'd let you know there's a 2012 at Medved South in Castle Rock, CO. We spoke to a new salesman named Kelly and he searched for info when he didn't have it, and was low key/no pressure.
On another note, we compared the 2013 BRM paint chip to the IBM and it looked very similar to us. Hoping to see a BRM corvette in person soon so we can decide if we like it! |

We have one!! Convertible IBM 2SS with the two tone grey interior. Unfortunately it's got the inherited top problems, but they are being addressed.

The Imperial Blue really looks smashing on these verts. If they had one on the lot when I was looking, I would have gone with it.
