I sat in my car today at 6:40 PM PST. I'll have her home tomorrow afternoon after delear inspection and my inspection. Plus my strips were installed at the factory too.VIN 10108

I sat in mine today too!!! Went to the dealership to talk to the salesman and SURPRISE, my car is in baby!

Damn it has been a long wait. Hopefully I will bring it home in the next couple days and have it for the weekend.

VIN 2416 IOM 2SS, Black Interior, Black Stripes Package. I asked them not to put the stripes on it because I'm thinking about having some painted on instead. I mean the vinyl "stickers" look good, but I think they would look better painted on and extending farther out etc....

Regardless, my car is finally freakin here and I am pumped!

My Camaro (10386) is not on the "spastic spreadsheet" yet. My baby is on a CPX train crossing into the U.S. right now! Can't wait to see her.

trying to get an estimate on arrival of mine. the spreadsheet shows it was found on 6/8/09. is there a rough estimate of how far away that means it is? my dealer told me back on 6/4/09 that it was shown as IN TRANSIT. now i see it on the spreadsheet as found 6/8/09. can anyone give me an idea, preferably based on experience. thanks.

Could anyone help me try to figure out the status of my parents car? They were a pre-order on 1/8 and are still sitting at 1100.
They are as excited about receiving their car as I am mine, but are also getting frustrated with all of the deliveries and cars that are sitting on the lots when they haven't moved a bit.
They are in contact with the dealer and only get a know nothing response.

If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. They are located in Iowa and I am in Idaho. Just wondering if that has anything at all to do with it.

dealer should be able to tell you where they're at in line; ask them is they have any allocations also; try posting on the 1100 thread for other suggestions...

strange... so i see on your database a car show up that is exactly what i ordered at my dealership, states: 2SS/RS CGM/Black Automatic, but when i click on the VIN# to brink up the window sticker it states: "Manual". i'm confused. I don't care if it comes manual or auto to be honest, i just want it NOW but thought it was weird. i don't even know it's mine yet - i emailed the dealer this morning to confirm. My order number is NJKKB2,
the VIN in question is 2G1FK1EJ2A9116408.
is there a way to associate the vin with order number to make sure?

Ordered in Jan and still 1100 seems too long even as a pre-order. Did they change the order and or happen to have ordered high wing spolier or engine cover- constraints on those items mean you will hold. Is it a small dealership and/or rural area, (where they would have fewer allocations)? Might want to cancel and re-order at another dealer but find out where in line they'd be. also have dealer check order workbench on Fridays as they are updated from GM on Thursday. There is also a customer service # at GM that sometimes is helpful with regard to order status: 866-790-5700

Thank you........Yes it is in a rural part of Iowa. No constrains - RS/SS auto. I just feel sorry for them, since the are so excited, and he is at the point of cancelling all together. Thanks for your suggestions, I will see what I can do
