BBK Headers for V6 2010 Camaros! PHASTEK Performance
Available at Phastek Performance's Online Store - Pricing and more details coming soon!
2010 Camaro RS on the dyno GAINS 33HP and 30 ft lb of torque! BBK have released a short video, It shows a bone-stock 2010 Camaro RS V6 on their dyno. The car made an impressive 255 horsepower at the rear wheels ! (aka RWHP) It’s advertised as 304HP by Chevy – but that is at the flywheel. For a V6, those are GREAT NUMBERS. As expected BBK has designed and developed an exhaust system to replace the factory stock restrictive system. BBK designers and engineers got to work on this system as soon as they got their hands on the all new RS and designed a complete set of full length headers that attach to a high flow catalytic converter – that’s what makes the power! 33 Horsepower and 30ft/lb of torque over stock ! This BBK Header system now takes the rear wheel numbers up to 288HP at the rear wheels !! Now these BBK full length RS Camaro headers aren’t ready for distribution yet, but when they hit the market they are sure to become VERY popular! You can also be sure that all BBK Distributors & retailers will be sure to have plenty of systems on their shelves waiting for eager RS owners to start to massage the power out of their new rides ! Click here to watch the YouTube Video from BBK on a full revoew of the headers, including full installation and dyno results! |

Thanks for the information, I think BBK posted some information on this a few weeks ago. Just so you know, the V6 Camaro is usually referred to as the LT or 2LT or V6. RS refers to the appearance package (darker tail lights, halo HIDs, 20 inch wheels, body colored roof ditch molding, and rear spoiler) and is available on the V6 (LT) and the V8 (SS) models.

wow! without a tune, 0-60 should be in the 4 second. I like the potential on the v6.

I'm lovin the HP and TQ gains but I'm assuming these are the same long tube headers from a previous thread where it seemed the main concern was if they were even legal in most states??
Wasn't these gains with the stock cat-back as well? Sorry can't remember and haven't watched the video yet...(again).

these are with iphones and other accelerometers... Not sure exactly how accurate these things are... Beauwulf did compare his to his time slip from the trace.. while his ET was close his trap speed (MPH) was quite a bit off...

But to take a full second off those times we'll need more than headers & a tune. FYI: I've got the Airaid. Love it. |

Also when I was stock the car was running upper 14's in the 1/4 mile.. with a little cooler temps and my few mods I'm running 14.3. I haven't run with the backwoods air silencer delete yet.. hopefully this Saturday! I think with header and a tune my 0-60 would really be LOW 5s.. and possibly break into the 13s...
