The oil filter housings are removable. I would post a pic, but its not online to upload and hosting sites are blocked here at work. Same long block and guts from the Acadia/cts etc and the Camaro, different oil filter adapter and various bolt on parts like the pan and common water pumps etc.

Yea.....for a second I read that and thought "When did I post in this thread?!?" Then I saw KM's username, definitely not his usual writing style.

LOL.

I wonder if the difference in manifold, exhaust, plumbing etc can all add up to the stock power in the 2010s compared to a Traverse.

I thought the Camaro LLTs had upgraded timing, air/fuel mapping and other changes that made more power.

Or...I am talking out of my ass.

I am just saying that the car was sold to me as an "LLT" and everything I have read says it is. I originally thought it was the LFX as well. Maybe I am wrong - but so far what I have to compared points to the LLT.

Is it possible you bought a 2011 in 2012?

All 2012 models were LFXs.

Will do. I will try to post tonight.
Edit:
Didn't mean to hijack the thread.
Edit II:
I was out running errands and stopped by the Chevrolet dealership. They confirmed it is the LFX engine. Glad that has been settled and happy to be proven wrong! I was seriously confused but trusted the place I bought it.
Guess the dealership I bought the car from had no idea what was in the 2012 car.

Sorry for the hijack..
