Rear Seat Delete

I removed my rear seat to cut some weight from the car. Installed some "Cool It"" heat/acoustic suppression and had a fellow bend tin for the rear. I had the tin finished with a carbon Fiber wrap and put the two pieces in the car. Needs to be wiped down and cleaned but I was happy with the end result.

How did you get the pattern for the sheet metal cutout? Did you just trace the seat you pulled out?

Ive been thinking I doing this too, and I could make the parts myself too at work. Looks much better than raw

I have a friend who does a lot of metal work on race cars. I'm not sure what she did for a template. I can ask her and see if she still has it, if so maybe I can get it for you.

All bolted in and wiped down.

I wanted to go but it was raining here this morning and the forecast wasn't good so I made the game time call not to drive in.

Net loss was 31 lbs. Not huge but I'll take it where I can.
