A 3 MPG difference could be a lot or not that much depending on your income and driving habits. I fill up my tank about once a week, so at the current price of gas, I would be spending $12 a week more on gas or $48 a month more or $576 a year more filling up those extra 3 gallons a week. as we know, gas prices fluctuat so any calculation will be way off in the end but probably higher than you can predict.. If you are thinking about saving money, you not only will be spending less for the V6, you will save on insurance and gas.. Owning the V8 is a luxury and if you want to have that extra money at the end of the year, then you need to go with the V6..

I'm still getting a V8 unless gas hits $10 a gallon.. Then it stay s in the garage to use on the weekends while I go out and buy an electric scooter to get me around..lol....

same here. I will own a beater for the and drive it into the ground so that my Camaro never has to encounter salt.

But when spring hits, out comes the SS

Don't forget that it is 26 MPG on regular with the V6 and 23 MPG on Premium with the V8.

I am looking for a used cheap car to use now for a daily driver and I don't plan on getting rid of it when I get my Camaro. I may drive it to work every once in a while, but not everyday.

I'm driving mine every day. I drive a lot of highway miles too so the AFM should make a significant difference for me, and I'll still get the V8 performance when I want it.

premium is only a recommendation, it is not required

Yep, will drive my SS everyday with pride. I can't see spending 30+K for a car to drive it just on weekends and gas is what it is, so ya either deal with it or get something else 'cause these cars aren't designed to be highly fuel efficient. ")

Probably not, I have access to another vehicle and I plan on using that vehicle. Also I won't use this vehicle during the winter, under a car cover it goes.
