Lakewood Drag Shocks
Anybody had any experience with 90/10 front and 50/50 rear shocks? I know you have to use V6 camaro rear springs because of the length of the rear shock. So the serious drag racers out there give me some insight.

Drag racer for 25 years. Lakewood is a great brand. You are going to sacrafice some handling for traction with drag shocks. I run 90/10 front and 30/70 rear, but this is a purpose built drag car, sees no street.
The whole point of drag shocks is to help weight transfer onto the rear tires. The 90/10 in the front means your nose lifts easier than it compresses. We want the rear to compress so we go the other way. The "squat". But this car leaves the line at 6,000 rpm and pulls the front tires. It handles like it is on stilts when you are on the return road and such. When we did the alignment we had to jack the nose 2-3/4" to simulate how it runs down the track. I'd go with stickier tires first if you are having traction woes.

I guess coil overs is in the near future. My Mickey T's ain't never let me down. I'm trying to work on my suspension to get my 60ft right.
