It's the original picture only in mirror image.

He wanted to make both pics (the black one and the silver one) of the same side of the car, so he mirrored imaged the silver one (flipped it).

so SS is probably top dog right?
I mean, Chevrolet would want to put the most powerful car onto a T.V. wouldn't they?

From the stuff I have read the SS won't be top dog but we will not know for sure until the launch I suspect. My guess is that the Z28 will be top dog and it will be the 2010 Indy 500 pace car with similar styling to 1969. I think that is why Indy is the launch location. If they do this I think it will be very popular overall. Personally I would have liked to see them make an RS as the base V8 model, Z28 as the high performance and reserve the SS for a special edition/insane performance version a couple of years in. Since they have used the SS label in so many other cars like the Cobalt, we may view it as more sacred then they do however.

I do wish GM would stop makeing the top headlights optional. The base headlights look like crap on the CTS and don't have the light pipes and I'm not thinking these are going to have the "halos" the projector types will have. I would think it would actually be cheaper to have one type of headlight. Less development cost etc...
Mine will be the HID's with halos!

You really need to get to Indy -- we will have a lot of people there -- and we plan to give an 'immersion' on the car -- from engineers, stylists, etc.....that's something you really can't get anywhere else all at once.........

It seems as this has been solved already, but here is a brightened picture of the close up that shows the badge clearly. I've got two Z28s and was definately going to make it a trifecta by adding the new one, but if Bumblebee is the new Z28, it's too much for me, looks like I'll be going with an SS then...
