CAMARO SS motor mount upgrade
Has anyone done a polyurethane motor bushing upgrade on their car? If anyone has any experience, would you recommend them for higher horsepower builds? Or are the stock mounts best? Thanks

I have the Detroit Speed motor mounts and they are essentially solid even though they do have poly inserts. I wouldn't recommend them unless you really don't care about severe NVH. I expected it, but it's pretty obnoxious. That said, my motor doesn't move.

I did the BMR motor mounts and I’m thinking about going back to stock it is very harsh
If you daily drive your car I do not recommend them |

Wouldn't be a daily. I'm thinking I'll stick with stock, I've just heard rumors they don't do too well with a lot of power

The SS motor mounts are oil filled if I remember correctly.
I went with the Z/28 mounts, they are solid, but have a great feel.

I have the Detroit Speed engine mounts, basically solid, with a Revshift trans mount insert. The cam lope shakes the car. But I don't find it obnoxious. Definitely more vibration. The car feels very solid.

Obnoxious might have been a bit strong, but it would definitely be too much for someone with unrealistic expectations. I daily mine and the radio is never on in my car because I love to listen to all of the wonderful noises it makes.
