Figuring 13,500 pre-orders, I don't think that will set any records. They were pre-ordering since OCT 08, I thought for sure they would do at LEAST 25K and maybe end the year at 40K.

The March 16th date means nothing to me anymore. It's so vague as far as exactly what this date really means but I'm with you guys. It's almost here. I'm so glad I jumped on board with the pre-orders.

Hi!

I have been reading the thread posts in hopes to gain some insight on when we could expect our 2SS to arrive. While browsing the site today, our salesman called with news...

Our Camero is set to start on the production line next week! It should be here by mid to end April.

I am so excited - but cannot get in touch with my hubby since he is in class - I had to tell someone!

So maybe they are starting the V8s a little early?

No one knows exactly what is going to happen with GM, but we all know the corporation is in bad shape. Will they hang on long enough to produce the new Camaro? Probably, but it is likely that production will be cut short of projected expectations. If so, then those who get an early Camaro might have an unexpected collector vehicle.

I talked to my dealer yesterday.. he told me production will start on 3/16... You are the #1 order for us.. You might not be the first in Western Washington to get one.. BUT CLOSE to IT!!!
