Ground Effects, Mix-and-Match
I need your feedback to help me decide on a ground effects combination. I really like the Razzi kit, and I had one on my V6 when I had one, but I wondered if my 2SS would look better or 'unbalanced' with leaving the rear diffuser stock. Also, how would a mix and match look? I need some opinions please! I'm thinking of the following combinations, but please, if you have any ideas or pics, please post them! Thanks!
1. Razzi front spoiler and side skirts, stock rear diffuser or 2. GM front splitter, and Razzi side skirts, stock rear diffuser PS- Forgive me if this has been covered in a previous thread. |

I'm with you. I haven't really found a rear GFX that I like. I think it would look ok.

I've got the Showstoppers splitter, GFX rear diffuse, and will get the Stillen sides eventually.

I have the GM GFX and love the rear diffuser and side skirts but would go with the stillen front splitter If I were you. The GM front is nice looking but many issues with it holding on with the 3M tape and little rivit screws. I had to custom make a "L" bracket to hold the splitter up near the tire wall. IMO the finish is not a perfect fit, you have to work it. The stillen splitter looks like it fits better.

Badass! I glanced at the Havoc rear, but thought it looked a bit much like stock. After seeing yours with Razzi skirts and BAM! That ACS is HOT!!! I really like that one! It sets your ride OFF!!! Hmmm!... Thanks for all of the feedback, very helpful in narrowing things down! |

Well, I placed an order for the full Razzi kit. I planned on just ordering the skirts and the front, but I was made an offer I could not refuse for the whole kit!
I will make a last minute decision if I'm actually gonna have the rear air dam installed or not, but if I don't, I may just sell it for what I paid. We'll see... Thanks to all of you for your insights! |

When I was ordering my kit, I discovered there was an update in mid 2010 to the original mounting hardware. Appearantly there were issues with it disconnecting, however the body shop that installed mine, (with new hardware) advised there is NO way this thing is coming off... 9500 miles and speeds in excess of 150 mph and so far so good! Food for thought for the OP- I completely regret the OEM rear diffuser... after adding catless headers, I've had nothing but problems... from melting plastic, to discoloration, it's been drama. Current solution is the tips are cut 5" inside the bezels... looks like a$$ to me, but minimizes the damage. Looking into other options for tips, bezel coating, etc... more pain and $$$ than it was worth.
